TUBA TRAINER
WELCOME
Since the tuba is so large and low, it is hard to know if you are playing the right thing when first starting out. This website is designed to be a beginning tuba player's personal trainer. Here you will find videos demonstrating how to play and take care of your instrument, and songs for you to play along with. Just like any sport, the more you train, the better you will become. ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Alison Scheevel has taught band to students grades 5-12 for the past 10 years and is currently the 5th & 6th Grade Band Teacher at Le Mars Community Schools. Scheevel received her Bachelors Degree in Vocal and Instrumental Music Education from Luther College in 2012. She completed her Masters Degree in Music Education through the American Band College with CWU in 2018.
