TIMPANI TRAINER
WELCOME
This website is designed to train you into a skilled timpanist so you can demolish any timpani part that comes your way and dominate at honor band auditions. You will find videos demonstrating fundamental techniques and tools for you to use to develop your ear training and tuning skills. I encourage you to come in during study hall to practice along with these videos and tuning exercises.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Alison Scheevel has been teaching band to students grades 5-12 for the past 10 years and is currently the 5th & 6th Grade Band Teacher at Le Mars Community Schools. Scheevel earned her Bachelors Degree in Vocal and Instrumental Music Education from Luther College in 2012 and her Masters Degree in Music Education through the American Band College with CWU in 2018.
