TRAINING
On this page you will find videos and audio tracks for you to play along with in several different training areas. One of the components of the honor band audition is tuning intervals by ear. In order to do that, you first have to understand what intervals are and the difference between major and minor intervals. Below is a great tutorial from teoria.com. Begin with that. There are multiple pages, so keep clicking the arrow button until you have gone through all intervals. The next box is also from teoria.com. It lets you quiz yourself on the intervals. You can adjust the settings by clicking the buttons. Start by selecting only m3, P4, and P5.
Use buttons on the left to jump to different parts of the page.
Remember, just like any sport, the more you train, the more in shape you will become. If you study and practice a little bit each day, you will build muscle memory around the techniques and commit the knowledge to long term memory. Good luck!

EAR TRAINING
In order to tune intervals, you need to train your ears to recognize intervals by sound. Thinking of familiar songs that use those intervals will help. Start with the three needed for Junior High honor band auditions.
P5: Twinkle Twinkle
m3: Lullaby (m = minor, M = major)
Then add major third (HS Honor Band)
M3: Kumbaya

M6: NBC
m7: Star Trek,
Somewhere (West Side Story)
